Catholic Migration Office (TPS Service)
The recent tragedy in Haiti has affected Brooklyn and Queens as well. Every effort is being made pastorally by the Diocese of Brooklyn to console and pray for the affected. The Catholic Migration Office (CMO) is fully qualified and ready to help eligible members of our Haitian community to apply for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Employment Authorization. CMO staff will be available to assist in this effort for the duration of the application period.
IN ORDER TO APPLY YOU MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING:
- Copy of passport and I-94 if any, or birth certificate with English translation (proving your Haitian nationality)
- Most recent rent receipts, payroll stubs, bank statements, school, medical and other records (proving continuous physical presence in the U.S.A. since January 12, 2010)
- 2 recent passport style photographs
- $ 510.00 in Cash or Money Order made payable to Catholic Migration Office (No Personal Checks - Please)
